Kia ora tatou; As we head into the Easter break, it’s a good time to look back on what’s been a really positive term at GBHS.
There’s been a lot going on, with plenty of learning, strong participation in sport, and great involvement in events such as the House Festival, Summer Tournament Week and Relay for Life. We also had over 24 teams and close to 200 students involved in this term's Fast 5 competition! It’s been great to see so many students getting involved and making the most of these opportunities. Our school continues to grow, and it’s clear that things are going from strength to strength.
This week has been a busy one to finish. Our jazz band, Green Note, travelled to Tauranga to take part in the Tauranga Jazz Festival. It was fantastic to be able to watch their performances online - the standard was incredibly high, and they represented the school really well.
As the term wraps up, I hope everyone has a chance to rest and recharge over the break. Stay safe, and take the time to enjoy being with family and friends.
Have a great Easter break, and we’ll see you back next term.
