This is just a timely reminder to please take care when using portable chargers, as overheating power banks can pose a serious, often unexpected fire risk.

Yesterday, we had an incident at school involving a portable charger that had overheated and created a fire risk.

The student involved handled the situation admirably, and thankfully nobody was hurt.
