2026 School Based Teacher Training Programmes
Have you considered a career in teaching? Green Bay High School is proud to be involved with two excellent teacher training programmes - Auckland Schools' Teacher Training school-based programs, in partnership with the University of Waikato and The Teachers' Institute. Each programme is for one year and leads to New Zealand teacher registration:
- ASTTP: Auckland Secondary Teacher Training Programme / Enrolment application
- TTI: The Teachers' Institute / Enrolment application
Train in a school environment while completing qualifications. Accelerate your learning as a teacher and gain hands-on experience training in a school environment. Receive mentorship from seasoned educators: offering trainee teachers a rewarding and enriching learning journey as they complete their teaching qualification.
To be eligible for the programmes applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree as well as certain English language proficiencies.
Please read the programme information at the links above and submit your application to Green Bay High School by selecting 'Apply Now'.
You will be required to attach
