Assessment Data Manager and School Administrator
37.5 hours per week (term time only) Permanent Start Date:Sept 1st or earlier by agreement Availability: Term time only with some overtime potential.
Green Bay High School is a high-achieving West Auckland Secondary School in Green Bay.
About the Role The Assessment Data Manager and School Administrator works alongside senior staff and plays a key role in maintaining accurate records in the school's KAMAR (database) system. This position records and maintains data in a manner that allows accurate and timely reporting. Working closely with senior faculty teachers you will be creating, managing, and tracking assessment standards in KAMAR and school based assessments in KAMAR Markbook.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment Data: create and maintain assessment standards and KAMAR markbook assessments. Manage NZQA file transfers and ad hoc NCEA reports to/from other schools. Manage the entering and withdrawing students from assessment standards and the submission of External Moderation
- PST Conferences: manage online system setup & support, including communications to staff & caregivers
- Progress Reports: assist with report generation and maintenance
- New Staff Administration: Teacher registration renewal and Police vetting
- Process student stand downs, occasionally assist with student suspension administration
- EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom): ensure EOTC trip communications comply with set standards
- ESL Delegated Authoriser for Ministry of Education, Education Sector Applications
- Assist EA on occassion with other admin duties including back up for board meetings
