State-of-the-Art Facilities
Green Bay High School's 2.1 million Performing Arts Centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities including purpose built Dance and Drama studios and seating for an audience of 330, with a raised stage ensuring a better view, full lighting grid and a sprung floor.
Complete with a fully functional dance studio, situated in the previous existing building, which was too small and outdated for the growing needs of Green Bay High School. The project cost was covered by the former Waitakere City Council, ASB, Portage Trust and fundraising support from the community.
As well as being the hub of many school based performances, productions, musical evenings and dance events, this purpose built facility is available for community groups to hire. The foyer is a welcoming feature, where spectators can assemble with drinks and nibbles before entering the auditorium for special events.
