Elite Diving
GBHS student Luka Guthrie (Yr 12) is a competitive junior elite diver who has represented New Zealand locally and internationally. She competes in platform, and synchronised diving events.
Luka recently competed in the New Zealand Diving Nationals, held in Christchurch during the term break (pictured here with the trophy awarded for the highest score on platform in New Zealand this year)!
- Jnr Elite Platform: 1st Place
- Platform Synchro: 1st Place
- Open Women Platform: 2nd Place
Luka also represented NZ at the TYR Junior America's Cup, held in California (18-24 May, 2026). This level of competition featured top junior athletes across the 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform disciplines. We are pleased to announce Luka's success: - Elite Platform: 8th Place
- Junior Elite Platform Synchro (with partner Liv): 4th Place
