NZQA Top Art Expo

Four TOP ARTISTS from GBHS selected for NZQA's Top Art Exhibition!

Alyssa Rutherfurd (Photography), Margaux Fernandez (Design), Ani Haukau-Allport (Photography), and Keagan Scott-Woods (Photography) will have their work showcased as part of the NZQA Top Art Tour - where the best-of-the-best Level 3 Visual Arts boards are exhibited in a range of galleries, museums, and schools throughout the country.

Top Art allows secondary students and teachers an opportunity to see what's required to achieve Excellence at Level 3. It also allows members of the public to see the high calibre of art created in schools at a secondary school level and sets the standards for current Visual Arts students to see what they need to aim for, to achieve NCEA Excellence.

The Top Art exhibition travels the country until October as three tours: Pohutukawa, Pīwakawaka, and Kauri. Click HERE to see exhibition schedules for all three tours.

  • Alyssa's work is featured in the Pohutakawa Exhibition
  • Margaux's and Ani's work are featured in the Pīwakawaka Exhibition
  • Keegan's work is featured in the Kauri Exhibition
