School Sport Events
Many of our International students want to know specifically what sports they can do depending on the time of the year that they are joining us. The school's PE department has provided us with the following information:
Note: *ODT = One Day Tournament, not a season.
Term 1 (Summer Sport): Early Feb - Late March
- Water Polo - Seniors - Games Friday evening or Sunday afternoon.
- Volleyball - Seniors - Games Thursday or Friday after school depending on grade.
- Softball - Seniors - Games Monday after school. *ODT later in the term.
- Orienteering - All ages - Monday after school races.
- Cricket - All ages - Games Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon depending on grade.
- Tennis - All ages - Games Saturday mornings.
- Futsal (indoor soccer) - Seniors - Games Tuesday after school.
- Archery - All ages - Comp is Wednesday after school.
- Mountain Biking - All ages. *ODT's run from terms 1-3 on weekends.
- Athletics - All ages but students have to qualify with good times/distances etc. *ODT's
Term 2 & 3 (Winter Sport): Late April - Early September. No Games played during July holidays
- Football - All ages - Boys Saturday morning or Friday nights depending on grade, Girls Wednesday after school.
- Netball - All ages - Seniors Tuesday after school, Juniors Saturday morning.
- Basketball - All ages - Either Wednesday or Thursday after school depending on grade.
- Hockey - All ages - Boys Wednesday after school, Girls Thursday after school.
- Cheerleading - All ages - *ODT's on weekends
- Swimming - All ages - *ODT's but must qualify with good times.
- Rugby - All ages - Saturday mornings.
- Squash - All ages - *ODT's
- Table Tennis - All ages - Friday after school
- Fencing - All ages - *ODT's
- Cross Country Running - All ages - *ODT's
- Badminton - All ages - Social after school on Friday's or *ODT's if at a good level.
- Climbing - All ages - *ODT's on weekends
Term 4 (Summer Sport): Late October - Late November

- Volleyball - Juniors - Games Thursday or Friday after school depending on grade.
- Softball - Juniors - Games Monday after school. ODT later in the term.
- Cricket - All ages - Games Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon depending on grade.
- Tennis - Juniors - Games Saturday mornings.
- Futsal (indoor soccer) - Juniors - Games Tuesday after school.
