Pi Day
Tuesday, 31st March 2026 at 11:45am
Pi Day did not flow as planned on Friday 13 March ...much like the water (or lack of)!
With school closed for the day, Pi day celebrations took a back seat - however, a few students did manage to recite Pi and the winner was:
Vedan Rohit from W9MTN who recited 120 decimal places!
A great number of form classes also completed the quiz with the top Class Award going to: M12JLA.
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant pi (π), the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, which is approximately 3.14159. (It is also Albert Einstein's birthday).
A big thank you to those that did participate!
