Annual Summer Tournament

The annual National Secondary School's Summer Tournament week was held throughout Week 9 with Green Bay High School represented by four teams (Futsal, Volleyball Boys, Volleyball Girls, and our 3x3 Basketball team).
- Both Volleyball teams stayed local competing at Trusts Arena in Henderson.
- Basketball 3x3 Boys were at Bruce Pulman Arena in Takanini.
- Futsal Girls travelled to Wellington.
From Sunday to Wednesday, our Futsal Girls' team were down in Wellington for a National Tournament after qualifying in 2025. The girls went up against the best of the best and proved themselves a worthy component, experiencing the highs and lows throughout the competition. Their final placing means they have qualified for Nationals again next year, which is an outstanding achievement and one they should be proud of.
Our Boys and Girls Top Volleyball Teams competed in the National Satellite Tournament held at Trusts Arena from Wednesday to Friday. Both teams made it into the Top 16 after some nail-biting pool games, only narrowly missing out on a Top 8 finish in the play-offs. The boys placed 11th overall, and the girls 13th overall.
Our Basketball 3x3 Boys travelled to Bruce Pulman Arena for Wednesday and Thursday. The boys had an outstanding performance despite minimal training together, with one unlucky loss being the difference between securing a Top 8 finish or not. In the end, they took home an 11th place finish and should be immensely proud of their efforts.
A massive thank you to our coaches and managers for making this Summer Tournament Week possible. And to our Year 13s, thank you for your contribution to summer sport throughout your time here at school. Your legacy will live on through those who come after you.
