U18 NZ Rep!

Finn Birch (Yr 12) has been selected to be represent NZ at the upcoming Oceania Area Championships (OAC) held in Darwin, Australia.

Considering that Finn, who turns 16 tomorrow (!), only moved into the U18 age group in January, his selection is a big achievement - and one that he has worked extremely hard for over the summer Track and Field season.

During the recent Auckland Athletics Champs, Finn won Gold in the 2000m Steeplechase, and is looking forward to taking the competition in his stride!

Finn will be competing in the 2000m Steeplechase and the 3000m events at the Oceania Championships (18 - 23 May 2026).
