shave 2025 for web

Kia ora e te whānau; What an incredible week it has been at school!

Our Shave for a Cure campaign has been absolutely outstanding, and I want to acknowledge the generosity, courage, and spirit our students, staff, and wider community have shown. The commitment of those who took the plunge and shaved their heads, along with everyone who donated and supported has been inspiring. I am so proud, not only of the funds raised, but of the kindness and shared spirit that was so evident across our school.

The Dance Showcase on Wednesday evening was another highlight, and a chance to be wowed by the amazing dance talent within our school. The energy and passion on stage were infectious, and it was wonderful to see our dancers having an absolute blast on stage. Thank you to everyone involved, and especially to dance teacher Kerrily Aitchison for the countless hours she put into organising such a fantastic event.

Last night we celebrated sporting excellence at our annual Sports Awards. It was a fantastic evening recognising determination, teamwork, and achievement across so many codes. Congratulations to all of our award winners, and a huge thank you to our new Sports Team for leading such a successful event. Special thanks also to guest speaker Maia Wilson, who shared her inspiring story with honesty and heart.

Finally, to those celebrating Diwali, I wish you a very happy and prosperous festival. May the light of the diyas guide you towards happiness, peace, and success.
