Student-led Presentation

Green Bay High School's young scientists are proud to present their findings as part of a collaborative water project between GBHS and Watercare, supported by COMET: https://cometauckland.org.nz/ investigating water quality within our community.
During the presentation, students will share their journey working alongside Watercare to analyse water from our school and local streams.
You’ll hear about their field trips, collaboration with Watercare staff, data insights, and plans to extend the project beyond Green Bay High School with a vision for 2026.

This informative evening will showcase how student-led, hands-on projects can strengthen connections to science and inspire future STEM pathways.
This project-based learning experience has inspired and supported students in their pursuit of STEM education, becoming curious, connected learners, solving problems and speaking confidently to stakeholders about their investigations and results.
