Green Bay High School may be small, but we are mighty!
We are currently sitting in FOURTH place on the nation-wide schools' leaderboard, having raised over $21,000 (and donations are still coming in) for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ.
GBHS's gym was abuzz with anticipation, nerves, support, and admiration as brave students and staff took part in the 2025 Shave For A Cure - NZ Blood Cancer's annual fundraising event.
Thank you to Jackson Moyle (Year 10) for capturing some fantastic moments during GBHS's Shave For A Cure with his camera, and to Mohamad Mansour (Year 11) who did an amazing job as our on-site 'professional' barber, for tidying up buzz-cuts and fades while being quietly respectful and professional about it.
Watching students and staff supporting each other at this event was certainly a fine demonstration of our school vision: Te Angitu Ngatahi - Succeeding together.

Buzz cut 'contender of the year' goes to Science teacher Madeleine Collins, who shaved her long, naturally curly hair for this great cause. And looks fabulous with her new 'do'!
Everyone who took part should be very proud of their new look, knowing they have made a difference to the lives of many.
