Kia ora e te whānau;
It was great to see so many whānau at school on Tuesday and Wednesday for the PST meetings. Connecting with new teachers, catching up with familiar ones, and having meaningful conversations about learning is incredibly important. This time, we used some different spaces, including our new temporary classrooms on the field, giving many whānau their first opportunity to see inside.
Naturally, this led to plenty of questions about our new science block. The design is well underway and is expected to be completed early in Term 2, with construction planned to begin in the second half of the year. When the design is finalised, I’ll share more information about what the new science block will look like and the different features in the labs and spaces inside.
Have a great weekend.
