Chicken Pox

GBHS's Nurses are aware of a case of chickenpox at school this week.

For most people, chicken pox is a mild disease and the best defence against this is immunisation. Immunisation provides long-term but probably not lifelong immunity to chickenpox. Most people who have this vaccine will not get chicken pox. If an immunised person does get chicken pox, it is usually mild.
