Kia ora e te whānau; It’s been a great week, and a real highlight was watching our talented music students perform at their annual concert on Wednesday night. There was a real buzz on the night with so many whānau and friends there to support. It’s no easy feat standing on stage and performing, and I was really impressed with the students who worked hard and gave it their all on the night. The school choir is off to the Big Sing competition at the Town Hall next week, and I wish them the best of luck.
A team that has really blown me away across the term has been the Girls’ XI football team. They were unbeaten so far this season, as they took the field against King's College on Wednesday. The result was a hard-fought draw, and the dedication and perseverance that the girls demonstrated throughout the game was impressive.
We’re coming into the last 3 weeks of term, with a lot packed into each week.
Have a great weekend.
