A Night to Remember

GBHS MUSIC NIGHT!

On Wednesday, 12 June, the Green Bay High School Auditorium came alive with the sounds of our talented students at the much-anticipated Green Bay High School Music Night.

This event showcased performances by our senior bands and various extracurricular groups, including Green Note, Rockapella vocal group, the Year 13 music band The Yappers, the chamber orchestra, and the Green Bay High School School choir Ngā Manawa Tītī. In total, 13 groups were performing, involving 74 performers.

We had a wide variety of music from Jazz, classical and rock pop tunes and originals performed.

All the groups performed exceptionally well, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed and proud of our school's musical talent.

A special thank you goes out to our wonderful MC for the evening, Bronte Sorby (Y 13), for keeping the night flowing smoothly, and to our student helpers Francesco Turchetto (Yr 12), and Gijs Klein (Yr 13) and all the performing arts teachers for their hard work and dedication in organizing and running this fantastic event.

Well done to all the performers for making Green Bay Music Night a huge success!
