SPANISH SPEAKING LIFESTYLE

Last week, GBHS's Senior Spanish students had the opportunity to go to Mangawhai for our annual Spanish Camp.

During the Spanish Immersion Camp, students had the opportunity to cook a wide variety of Hispanic Food, participate in language-based activities, and create dance routines and skits - all while speaking in Spanish with other students.

Spanish teacher, José Torres, says it was great to see students pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and trying to embrace a Spanish-speaking lifestyle, even if it was for 2 days!
