Yr 10 Fashion & Design
Year 10 Fashion & Design students have been busy creating unique logos to represent who they are - their culture, interests, and personality.
Designs were transformed into a fashion statement, proudly embellished on tote/shoulder bags, to be worn with pride.
These bright and beautiful bags were displayed, complete with a written statement, giving insight into the thought process behind each design.
As part of the design brief, students created unique logos to represent their cultural backgrounds, hobbies, or anything meaningful to them - following a full design development process - starting with research, exploring scale and colour combinations, and finalising their designs.
Students also had the opportunity to experiment with applied design techniques such as hand painting, embroidery, and appliqué, and were encouraged to combine at least two of these techniques.
The top 11 designs were first selected by senior Fashion & Design and Product Development students to be exhibited in the staffroom, where staff voted to select the Top 3 winners.
