TOURNAMENT UPDATES

Volleyball North Island Champs: GBHS's girls' team finished 7th overall, going from a tough loss in the semi-finals against Carmel College to an amazing win in the finals against Rosehill College. The boys' team finished 14th overall after a great win against Scot's College in the semi-finals, and a very close loss in the final against Kristin School.

A lot of improvement was seen from both teams, starting with the Auckland Champs and ending with the North Island Champs. We are so proud of how they all competed and represented GBHS; receiving great feedback from other schools and spectators about how accommodating we were to other teams!

A big shout-out to our coaches, Noah Saunders and Pete Jamieson, for their awesome efforts over this season, and to Barb Brewer for her help over the tournament weeks as well!

Cricket Cup: This was the first year this tournament was run, and the GBHS boys' team had a blast despite one of the days getting rained off. They performed well as a team and have gained some good experience going into the Term 1 Cricket season. Well done, team!
