Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

GBHS's Year 13 Graduation (held on Monday 1 December) was a lovely evening in celebration of another fantastic year. Green Bay High School has been awarded an impressive $262,000 worth of scholarships.

  • Massey University Undergraduate First Year Scholarship – School Leavers - presented by Bronwyn Dyer, Massey University.
    This scholarship supports school leavers to undertake university study for the first time. They are designed to acknowledge excellence and enable equitable access to study. The value of the scholarship is up to $4,000. Congratulations to: Maerin Farrington, Cherry Zhang, Milly Grieve

  • Massey University First-year Animal Science Scholarship - presented by Bronwyn Dyer, Massey University.
    This scholarship supports first-year undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Animal Science. The value of the scholarship is typically $5,000. Congratulations to: Saskia Shand

  • University of Waikato 'Ko Te Tangata' School Leaver Scholarship
    This scholarship is named ‘for the people’, recognises and supports top-achieving students commencing an undergraduate degree at the University of Waikato. The value of the scholarship is up to $5,000. Congratulations to: Kai Lawford

  • Victoria University of Wellington - Totoweka Equity Scholarship
    The Totoweka Equity Scholarship recognises the University's commitment to equity issues in supporting all students to have access to education. Scholarships are awarded competitively based on academic merit, equity, leadership, and commitment to community.   • Victoria University of Wellington - Kahotea Outstanding Achievement Scholarship This scholarship recognises the top applicants from across the suite of school leaver scholarships that Victory University has to offer. Recipients will have achieved exceptional academic results and demonstrated extensive contributions within the areas of culture, sports, community involvement, leadership, or equity.   • University of Otago - presented by Alba Suarez Garcia, University of Otago. Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship is to celebrate the excellence of students enrolling at the University of Otago. The value of the scholarship is up to $5,000.   • University of Otago - Leaders of Tomorrow Entrance Scholarship - presented by Alba Suarez Garcia, University of Otago.
    Established by the University of Otago Council in 2006 to assist students who have demonstrated all-round ability and who exhibit leadership potential to attend the University of Otago. The value of the scholarship is up to $5,000. Congratulations to: Adi Shirlal

  • University of Otago Performance Entrance Scholarship - presented by Alba Suarez Garcia, University of Otago. Established to encourage excellence in areas of performance including sport, culture, music and the arts. These scholarships are available to academically-able students with demonstrated high-level ability in their chosen area of performance. The value of the scholarship is up to $7,000.
