GBHS Newsletter (31 March 2023)
Kia ora e te whānau; It has been a fantastic week and I’ve loved reading the different articles in this week’s newsletter, filled with stories of our students doing amazing things. I am so proud of all their achievements.
Summer sport has nearly finished, with only a few tennis games scheduled this weekend. The summer tournament was definitely a highlight for our volleyball and touch teams. Winter sport kicks off at the beginning of term 2, and I’d encourage all students to get involved. If you need more information, don’t hesitate to contact Hamish and Georgia in the Sports Department.
It’s a busy week for our Performing Arts Faculty next week with the Tauranga Jazz Festival and the Level 1 NCEA Drama evening on Wednesday night and I wish all those involved well as they prepare for their performances.
Tonight is the Enchanted Forest Ball for our Year 12 and 13 students. There’s been a lot of work put in to make the evening a great event and I’m looking forward to seeing our stunning students!
Have a great weekend.
