German Hip Hop

German hip-hop artist, An Jay, performed some of his most recent songs in the GBHS library today - to a captivated audience!

German language students had the opportunity to participate in Deutschrap workshops, connecting language learning with rap music.

Head of Department (Languages) Nicole Polke says she was amazed at the level of student enthusiasm and participation, with a large number of senior German language students getting involved and belting out a few impromptu raps of their own - in German, of course!
