This week has been the first full week of the year and it was absolutely packed with trips, sports and both the L1 NCEA evening and the Bbq for our new Year 9 whānau. Thanks to all of you who were able to come into the school for these events.
Buses are a really hot topic at the moment, and like many schools we are doing everything we can to get Auckland Transport to increase the number of buses serving our community. The summer sports season is well underway, and it has been great seeing students actively involved in training and games. I look forward to seeing many of you at games across the weekend.

Lockdown Practice
As part of keeping our school safe we need to be able to respond safely and quickly to a range of emergency situations. We work alongside an independent company, Harrison Tew®, who specialises in emergency management planning for schools, whose procedures have been successfully implemented in hundreds of schools throughout New Zealand.
