GBHS Newsletter (23 June 2023)
Kia ora e te whānau; As you can see in this week's newsletter, there is always a lot happening! Please remember that on Tuesday 27th June, Green Bay High School will be closing for instruction for all students at the earlier time of 12.15pm so that members of the PPTA can attend a paid union meeting. This information was sent to parents/caregivers earlier this week via email, SchoolBridge App, and our school's Facebook platform. Please note: school buses do not arrive at the earlier closing time and operate as per the normal schedule, please contact Deputy Principal Sandy Begg to make arrangements if your child requires supervision on Tuesday.

Matariki Celebrations
Nau mai, haere mai te karanga o te tau hou o Matariki. Green Bay High School warmly invites you and your whānau to join us for this year's Matariki celebration and hāngī on Friday 14 July 2023. The ceremony will begin at 11:00am. Please assemble from 10:45am at Tauihu (Green Bay Beach). Once we are gathered on the beach, we will honour our whānau members who have departed over the past Matariki, sing waiata, share the story of how Te Mānukanuka o Hoturoa (Manukau Harbour) got its name and commemorate…
