Kia ora e te whānau; It’s been a fantastic week with a lot happening around the school. Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey on the use of phones at GBHS. We had 382 responses from the community and 428 from students and this information will help the Board of Trustees to make decisions going forward. We’ll be back in touch shortly with key themes from the survey and next steps.
We have had a real focus on career education this week with students at all year levels taking part in activities focused on their interests, skills and future pathways. You can read more about the SchoolPoint modules and how you can see what is happening in the 'Career Education Plan' article (below). Thanks to everyone who went to the Careers Out West Expo held at the Trust Arena. There was a great turnout of GBHS students and whānau at this inaugural event.

Green Bay Rocks the Regional Finals! Green Bay High School has reason to celebrate once again as two of our talented bands have made it to the Smokefree Rockquest regional finals. Mind the Gap and Ulterior Motive will be competing against other top bands from across Auckland at Auckland Girls' Grammar on the 10th of June at 7 pm.
