Wonderful Wellbeing
Last week, Green Bay High School's 24-7 Youth Work facilitated a week-long celebration, with lunchtime events and activities in appreciation of our students. It was great to see so many students and staff taking part in the fun! Throughout the week, we were also so pleased to have students at Te Aratika taking part in Youth Week activites, participating in adaptive Super Tag, MasterChef competitions, and Thursday's breakfast.
And the winners are...
Monday's Amazing Race (where teams raced around school doing fun challenges) was won by Keagan Scott-Woods, Nasoni Victor-Dari and Arthur Norton (year 12s). Tuesday's (Year 10-13) MasterChef competition was won by Noah Saunders (year 11). On Wednesday, this week (24 May) the Year 9s had their turn at MasterChef, won by Juliette Culquhoun. Wednesday's Big Games event in the gym at lunchtime - where everyone was a winner! Thursday's was a 'Fancy FREE' breakfast (a 'win' for all). Friday's lunchtime festival joined forces with the Business Studies 'Market Day', Kapa Hauora Pink Shirt Day. Super Tag took place all week and was won by Michael Zuo (Year 9).
