Climbing the Corporate Ladder

Level 1 Business Studies students made the most of gathering data as part of their latest assessment, investigating aspects of human resource processes within a business.

Local indoor climbing venue, Vertical Adventures, was the perfect learning enviroment for our young entreprenuers to gain first hand knowledge of the environment they are studying.

After several workshops involving lots of questions and answers, students extended their knowledge regarding human resources, particularly around the hiring process from hiring to firing and everything in between. Vertical Adventures owner, Darrin Worsfold, spoke to students about how he started his business and all the different stages of development, that are involved, especially during covid years, and how this impacted his employment.
