GBHS Newsletter (8 September 2023)

Senior practice exams began this week and there has been an air of focus and determination across the school. For most Year 11 students, these practice exams will be their first experience of a formal exam setting and it has been great to see students well prepared, arriving on time and ready to sit their exams.
This week we had the annual election for the student representative on the Board of Trustees. I am so proud of the five students who stood for election and wanted to contribute their time and energy at Board level. Congratulations to Annie-Rose Collins who has been elected in this role, and thank you to Harrison Clark-Robinson for the fantastic job you have done over the past two years. We had a significantly higher student voting participation rate in this year's election, which was fantastic to see.
