Junior Tag Football – Central North West Zone Tournament:

It was a hot day at Moire Park in Massey on Tuesday as Green Bay High School took both our Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' teams to the Central North West Zone Tag Football Tournament.

Our girls battled hard throughout their pool games, narrowly missing out on a place in the playoffs after a thrilling final pool match against Mahurangi College. In a nail-biting finish, Mahurangi scored a last-minute try to secure a 7–6 win.

The boys had a strong tournament, finishing second in their pool and earning a place in the playoffs. They faced a highly skilled and well-drilled Dilworth team, who proved too strong on the day.

Both teams showed great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Well done to all our players for representing Green Bay High School with pride!
