Table Tennis King

Mr Kevin Fogarty's sharp eye and quick reflexes were put to the test recently - but not in a classroom setting!

Kevin is a relief teacher at GBHS by day, and Table Tennis extra-ordinaire after hours, having recently received an Order of Merit - placing 7th overall in the Australasian Veterans.

Representing NZ at the National Veterans Championships in Australia (October 2025), Kevin won Silver in the Team event, Silver in the Doubles, and Bronze in the Mixed Doubles.

Kevin's motto is "Live long, play ping pong."

The Australasian competition was just the latest of accomplishments Kevin has managed to serve up, with a long list of accolades to his bow, having represented Auckland and New Zealand in many competitions over the years.
