Meet your new Piha Surf Lifeguards!

Congratulations to (pictured L-R) Ella Stirrup, Brooke Harley, Fox Winton, Bowie Rewi, Cormac Gray, and Lewis Child - who all became fully qualified Lifeguards after sitting their 3rd and final exam at Omaha Beach over the weekend.

Reaching this high standard of achievement is an accomplishment in itself. However, this is even more of an outstanding accolade, considering this group are all Year 9 students!

A culmination of four years of hard work and commitment has certainly paid off, with the final examination consisting of CPR, First Aid, Radio/Comms and non-verbal Hand Signals.

Be sure to look out for them at Piha Beach while they are on Patrol this summer...where you can be sure they will be looking out for you!
