Noah Saunders (Yr 12)

Noah Saunders (Year 12) gained his National Volleyball Referee Badge last week, during the Volleyball New Zealand Club Nationals!

Due to an eye injury received at training a week before the tournament, Noah could not play with his club teammates at ACVC (Auckland Central Volleyball Club) who finished 9th in the Men’s 2nd Division.

Instead, Noah focused on supporting his team and obtaining his referee's badge, which involved theory and practical assessments.

Noah was rewarded for his hard work by 2nd refereeing one of the Men’s 1st Division Semifinals and 2nd refereeing the Women’s 1st Division Final.
