Launch Party

This week, GBHS hosted a Launch Party for a new Migrant Orientation Pack website.

The website was developed by our Junior ESOL students and is packed full of helpful information for migrant students who are new to our school.

ESOL students researched and wrote all the content, including information such as school maps, the Prayer Room, holidays, medical absences, digital information and safety.

Speaking from experience, ESOL students thought our migrant students would benefit from having this information readily available because it can be nerve-wracking when starting a new school, not to mention in a new country.
