Whānau Hui and BBQ

Next week, on Wednesday 29 November 2023, Green Bay High School is hosting our final whānau hui of the year. The focus of this hui is to welcome our new whānau Māori who will be joining us in 2024.

The hui will be very informal and will run from 6pm - 7pm in the staffroom. The agenda is whakawhanaungatanga and kai (BBQ cooked by Student Leaders).

For catering purposes, please RSVP via email to whaea Chloe Marsh with numbers of attendees and any dietary requirements so that we can organise the right amount and type of kai.

The transition into high school can be a stressful time for rangatahi and whānau alike, and we want to support our new families through the process. Senior leaders, key staff and student leaders will be at the hui, as well as our existing whānau Māori.
