Paid Union Meeting

The Executive of the Post Primary Teachers’ Association has directed members covered by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA) and the Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement (ASTCA) to attend a round of regional paid union meetings (PUM) held under the provisions of Section 26 of the Employment Relations Act 2000.

On Wednesday 30 November 2022, Green Bay High School teachers will be attending a paid union meeting. The right to hold a meeting of this nature is contained in the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Employment Agreement. All Union members are expected to attend.

The school day will finish at the earlier time of 12.30pm. NOTE: NCEA exams are not affected by the PUM and will continue as per NCEA timetable.

Buses are not able to come at the earlier time. If you wish to have your Year 9 or Year 10 child supervised during afternoon school hours please register with the school office (phone: 09 817-8173 ext 201).
