GBHS Weekend Rugby Report:

The U60's had an away game against Glendowie College. Despite a fast start with the GBHS up 19-0, some defensive slips let Glendowie back into the game. While the boys dug in and defended right to the very end, we unfortunately walked away on the wrong side of the scoreboard, 24-19.

The 85’s welcomed Sacred Heart to Green Bay for a hard-fought home match in challenging winter conditions. Despite the cold and wet weather, the boys showed tremendous determination, skill and resilience throughout the game. In a nail-biting finish, Sacred Heart crossed the line and converted a try on the final whistle to claim a narrow 12-10 win.

Although the result didn’t go Green Bay’s way, the team can be incredibly proud of their performance. The match was played to an exceptionally high standard, with several opposition parents taking the time to comment on how impressed they were by the Green Bay players, praising their skill, game awareness and intelligent style of rugby.
