TERM 3 HOUSE EVENTS:
House competitions strengthen our school values by promoting positive learning relatinships bewteen students and teachers. Fostering the development of students' prosocial skills and strategies, and increasing participation and attendance.

Green Bay High School's 'House' events are run throughout the year, with points awarded. As well as school-wide competitions, individual students can earn House points for outstanding academic and/or community-based achievements. The Leader Board, situated in Student Services, clearly shows which House is in the lead.
Students belong to one of five Houses named after our local beaches:
Anawhata (black) Karekare (yellow) Muriwai (blue) Piha (green) Whatipu (red)
Which HOUSE do you belong to? Check your Timetable, the first letter of your Form Class shows which House you are associated with eg M9MGG = Muriwai, Yr9, Form Teacher: Jake McGregor.
