Student Trustee Election RESULTS

The election for this role was held on Wednesday 9 September 2026. The successful candidate was Mohammed Malik, who got the majority of the vote. There was a huge turnout of student voters, which was evidence of the significant interest raised by the Campaign.

Congratulations to Mohammed, who has been elected in this role and will serve as the Student Trustee on the Board in 2026/27. The Board looks forward to working with Mohammed.

The other Candidates were: Klara Abdelhadi, Lee Housley, Tanysha Husain, Nova Latham, Isla O'Brien, Sheehan Peris, Janelle Saili, Kaleb Sobieszczuk-Strickland, Nora Vastag, Khushpreet Virk, Sofiya Woodside, Marina Zheng, Emily Zuo. They will provide Mohammed with any additional support that he may require throughout the rest of 2026 and into 2027. The Board would like to extend their thanks to Penelope Logie for her contribution to the Board over the previous year.

All candidates carried out their campaign in a manner that reflected our school values and should be acknowledged as the excellent role models that they are. We thank them for their involvement in the democratic process of determining the Student Trustee.
