Public Health Intern

Congratulations to Nora Vastag (Year 12) on her successful selection to complete a Public Health Internship with BWB (Buddies Without Borders) Leadership Initiatives and Global Education Destinations.

Nora has been selected as the New Zealand team Captain/Team Leader, and will be responsible for her team’s registration, scheduling team meetings and taking attendance. Nora will be the point of contact for her team's Leadership Initiatives Internship Project Coordinator and Mentor.

Nora’s team will meet each week for a 15-minute weekly call on Zoom - taking into consideration the Leadership Initiatives office is in Washington D.C. so all zoom meetings must be at a suitable Eastern Time!

Nora was offered an internship opportunity for Law with BWB at the end of last year; however decided not to take up the opportunity, instead waiting to apply for this year’s public health internship.

"I am more passionate about the Public Health Internship, which was not offered last year due to a lack of interest."
