GBHS warmly welcomes our newest staff members of 2026, and are pleased to introduce Michelle Draper in this week's newsletter:
Michelle may be a familiar face to many of our students, having worked as Finance Manager at Glen Eden Intermediate School for many years.
"I have lived in West Auckland all my life and I am currently living in Titirangi. I love the area with heaps of native trees and birds.
In my spare time I like gardening, baking and catching up with friends.
I am enjoying my new role in Accounts and Payroll and I am excited to be working at the High School that both my children attended."

Voluntary School Donation: The Voluntary School Donation (2026) is $235 for the first child attending, and $80 (for each subsequent sibling attending)
Subject Fees: There may also be workbook charges and subject fees for some subjects. These will be listed on your child’s school invoice, and will be available to view on the Web Portal (using your parent login to access). Please note that Year 9 and Year 10 students have a change of option subjects at the beginning of Term 3, so there will be some new subject fees invoiced at that stage.
Sport & Extra Curricular: In addition to the above fees there are extra fees for students involved in sports and other curricular activities. You will be notified of these fees by email as they occur, and they will then appear on your student’s invoice.
Student ID Card: $12: This is used for borrowing books from the library, student bus fares, printing and photocopying from school and exam entry.
