GBHS's Got Talent!

Green Bay High School was well represented last night at the inaugural Whau Youth Board talent show hosted by Kelston Boys' High School.

Our very own Youth MPs Felix Shaw and Adi Shirlal (both GBHS Yr 13 students) were integral to the organisation of this evening's event in their roles as members of the #WhauYouthBoard.

Three of the 11 finalists were from Green Bay High School; Kouki Zhang - Pianist, Elias Hunt - Singer, and Alexis Heckler - Dog Tricks, with her Border Collie Skye, who performed in front of a panel of three entertainment judges in a packed-out auditorium.

Alexis and Skye took out the first prize of $300, which, as Alexis says, "Will buy a lot of dog treats."

All of the performers were complimented by the judges for their talent, evidence of hours of practice, and courage, with Kouki getting a special Judges' Commendation.

Thanks to the Whau Youth Board, it was an amazing night.
