Drama Assessments - Final Evening - Remain in Light: By Stephen Sinclair

This week, our Level 3 Drama students took to the stage for the final time in their school careers, performing Stephen Sinclair’s powerful play Remain in Light. This was not only their major assessment for the year, but also the first full-length production this cohort has performed together - and what a performance it was.

Set in a world where the sun no longer rises, Remain in Light is a haunting, poetic reflection on humanity, exploring themes of war, racism, climate crisis, and hope in darkness. The students’ interpretation was thoughtful, evocative, and one they should be proud of.
