Uike Kātoanga’i ‘o e lea faka-Tonga

(18 - 24 August 2024) The 2024 theme for Tonga Language Week is: 'E tu'uloa 'a e lea faka-Tongá 'o ka lea'aki 'i 'api, siasí (lotú), mo e nofo-'a-kāingá - The Tongan Language will be sustainable when used at home, church and in the wider community.

Green Bay High School celebrated the beautiful culture of Tonga with week-long events: • Monday: Form time, learn a phrase, Lunchtime - ripper rugby • Tuesday: Kahoot quiz, form time • Wednesday: Learn how to make a Kahoa lei • Friday: Formal Tongan Dress: Library Courtyard at interval with kai, music, activities and lunchtime performances in the Auditorium
