Rocking at Rocktopia!

GBHS students Florian Koopmanshap (Yr 11), Bianca O'Keefe (Yr 12), Luke Parkin (Yr 10), Stella Raccuglia (Yr 9), Ezra Walker (Yr 11) and Tom Waller (Yr 10) are competing in the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Climbing Cup, held at Rocktopia in Mt Maunganui on the 28th and 29th of August.

Our Junior and Senior teams have competed well, all finishing in the top half of the field.

Tom Waller and Luke Parkin placed 9th and 12 respectively in the Speed Wall event.

Fabulous sportsmanship and plenty of support are on display by our students as they encourage their peers, with special mention of the extraordinary vocal encouragement by Stella Raccuglia! Awesome mahi, everyone!
