Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2022

Monday, 12th September 2022 at 11:36am

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2022: Year 13 student, Mali Reid, is leading the way to encourage GBHS students and staff to use te reo Māori in our everyday lives. Mali has put together some huatau (ideas) of things we can do to normalise te reo Māori - with a range of informative slides and wero (challenges).

It could be as easy as saying 'kia ora', and/or starting your morning greeting with "mōrena". Don't be shy! Give it a go!

Ahakoa he iti, he pounamu. Although it is small, it is precious.
