As part of the Auckland Rugby Pro Sport Career Program (1 year course) students will obtain a NZ Certificate in Sport, Exercise, and Leisure Operations Level 3; NZ Certificate in Sport Officiating Level 3; and NZ Certificate in Sport Coaching Level 3. (97 Level 3 credits in total).

The programme includes individualised personal training and strength and conditioning programmes with ARU High Performance trainers. Work experience at games and events at Eden Park, and the delivery of skills coaching programmes at Auckland primary and intermediate school, and refereeing at primary and intermediate school rugby tournaments.

The course is based at Eden Park, free HOP card for travel provided.

Year 12 and Year 13 students are invited to attend a meeting with Auckland Rugby Union and Careers staff on Tuesday 27 September at 12pm. Students are encouraged to email [email protected] to register their interest.
