House Reading Challenge

Winter is the perfect time to bury your head in a good book!
READERS' CUP:

- Jerry Cai (M9ORR) Having prepared for weeks in advance, this team took part in the North West Auckland Readers' Cup Competition recently - participating in a quiz night based on six novels they had read. The Readers' Cup is a competition for Year 9 students, where their knowledge of pre-determined novels they have read is put to the test during a quiz night - competing against teams of avid readers from other secondary schools.
HOUSE READING CHALLENGE: Our wonderful school Librarians have been keeping track of all the books issued from the library in Term 2, as part of the House Reading Challenge.
Points have been awarded to the House with the most books issued, with the top individual readers also winning book vouchers, to be presented at the end of term assemblies next Friday. Congratulations Anawhata on some great reading!
