Introducing NEW staff
Monday, 20th April 2026 at 2:10pm
GBHS Receptionist Jessi Kilduff is now on Maternity Leave having recently had her baby boy, Tyler, during the term break - a welcome addition for big brother Jamie.
We are pleased to introduce Mila Bernard-Kauhega (Receptionist/Maternity cover) and Michelle du Toit (Learning Support Coordinator) to the team.
Michelle du Toit holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology, majoring in Psychology, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. With six years of experience as a special needs teacher in both South Africa and New Zealand, Michelle brings a broad perspective and a strong passion for inclusive practices to her role as Learning Support Coordinator.
Originally from South Africa, Michelle has worked across different cultural contexts, and has developed a deep understanding of diverse perspectives. This enriches her commitment to inclusion, allowing her to create supportive environments where all students feel seen, valued, and respected.
Michelle is dedicated to supporting students with diverse needs and is deeply committed to helping young people navigate both their education and the broader challenges of life. She places a strong emphasis on supporting students’ emotional wellbeing, recognising its importance in enabling effective learning and personal growth. Her student-centred approach focuses on fostering confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging, empowering learners to develop lifelong skills.
Beyond the classroom, Michelle has a strong passion for netball and is excited to be coaching the Senior A netball team at Green Bay High School. She looks forward to being an active member of the wider school community and contributing to the growth and wellbeing of all students.
