Congratulations to our Hip Hop heroes whose rhythm and flow have secured a spot in the World Hip Hop Championships!

Alba Thatcher-Edley, Jade West, Mia Ewers, Amelie Ray, and Mia Shiroki-Lion are part of the DANZA 'Frat Pack' crew who performed over the weekend at the 'Hip Hop Unite' National competition, in Wellington, qualifying for the World Hip Hop champs to be held in Tauranga later this year.

Their routine earned judges' praise for their point of difference: "actually dancing," while meeting criteria of incorporating dance moves (4 sets) with floorwork combinations within a 3-minute routine.

It's all go for the team! The group are heading to Tauranga this weekend to compete in the Hip Hop Project competition before getting their heads in the game to prepare and compete in the upcoming NDC (National Dance Challenge), held in Auckland.
