Pride Week is an important way for school communities to affirm that rainbow students, staff and whānau belong.

Aotearoa Schools' Pride Week (15 - 19 June 2026)

GBHS's library held a bookmark competition as part of Schools' Pride Week. Templates were available from the library, or students could create their own. All entries were to be original and hand-made, with winning designs printed and made into library bookmarks, available to collect from the library.

School librarians created a short list, ready for student voting, and are pleased to announce the winning designs (shown above).
